Cask, Occasional.
Remnant from the old Morlands Abingdon Brewery now brewed in Bury st Edmunds.
A smooth-tasting, cask-conditioned ale enhanced to offer an elegant happy floral nose, a nutty malty palate and a lingering malty sweetness.

26th March 2015: half-pint in my local Wetherspoons. Decent blend, my sweet tooth liking the caramel backbone to the brew. Amber body, small head, a mild fruity nose with light malts coming through. The taste like the aroma was fruits and malts, mostly caramel flavours giving the beer a semi-sweet feel.

Cask @ Penderel’s Oak (JDW)Penderel’s Oak (JDW), Holborn WC1. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy finish.

Golden amber, clear, dense white head, good lacing
Aroma of soft light sweet caramel malts, light fruits, a bit dull
Taste - Soft light sweet caramel malts, not much hop, some nutty malts, light yeast, nice and easy
Palate - Medium body, soft sweet malts. Finish as main flavour.
Overall - Really good condition here, quaffable, dirt cheap at only €1.99/pt

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - light grass and fresh red apples. Taste - apples and toffee. Well intermingled. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a good example of the Bitter style.

Cask, The Highcross, Leicester. Amber gold with an off white foam. Aromas are weetabix with grain and hints of apple peel. Yeasty with light floral notes and traces of bubblegum. Flavours are sweet, sugary weetabix and toffee with mellow apple. Brown sugar with a light boiled sweets finish. Dry, woody finish. Average.

Cask at streatham hill jdw. Pours darkish amber with an off white head. Aroma is light sweet with sponge cake and orange. Light body, light carbonation. Pretty sweet and cakey with bread, caramel, orange, light wood and lemon. It's ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at JDW Stansted. Pours reddish brown. Mild malty caramel aroma, slight bitterness. Taste is caramel malty, quite watery. Not much in this.
