Bottle from the brewhouse in brisbane, poured into tulip glass, a lovely burnt orange colour, one finger head with good lacing, aromas of pine, passion fruit, taste is the similar to aroma but with a sharp bitterness, another great Aussie beer

Jado (507) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - DEC 6, 2013
From 330 ml bottle. Pours a deep hazy brown with a pillowy off-white head and vigorous carbonation. Aromas of pine, caramel, citrus, biscuit and a touch of sweetness. Taste opens with biscuity malt, soon overtaken by an intense hop bite with lots of pine resin. Slips into some zesty citrus at the end. Medium to full bodied. Pine and malty aftertaste. Well balanced for the up-front style. Good.

M_Sack (364) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 26, 2013
Bottle and tap @ brewery. Deep copper with small cream head and heavy lacing. Citrus hop aroma along with a huge amount of malt and biscuit. Immediate hoppy bitterness, resinous mouth feel and pine cones but there is a big malt backbone that provides balance and just a touch of sweetness. The malt is more dominant on tap whereas a drier, lingering bitterness is present in the bottle. Top beer.

Pours a mahogany color with a tan head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of pine, some malt/caramel sweetness, some fruit and bit of grain in the background. Taste of pine, caramel sweetness with some fruit and grain, Nice bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body, quite smooth and a bit creamy. The 8.5% ABV is very well hidden. Very nice balance. Very enjoyable beer. A solid offerinng for the style. Well worth checking out.

Bottle from mane liquor. Deep amber pour with an off white head. Nose is quite strong! Pine needles and grassy hops dominate this baby. Taste is pine hops upfront with a well balanced malt backing bringing a dry mouthfeel. Pretty big beer. Another mornington beer that ticks the boxes ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bmeup (512) - Ormeau, AUSTRALIA - DEC 21, 2012
Cloudy brown with floaties. Thick head settles to a tight light brown cover. Lots of sweet caramel and tropical fruit and a hint of woodiness too. Malty caramel/toffee sweetness at first covered in a blanket of bitter goodness that lasts and lasts. Good stuff.

barakihunter (187) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - NOV 12, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 13, 2012 Aroma stone fruit, melon, hops. Appearance cloudy, red-brown, w/ a cream head. Taste stone fruit, toffeed apple, a tad of lycee, plus some super hoppy bitterness that actually takes away from the rest of the taste on the palate. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

maneliquor (3056) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 28, 2012
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2012 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Aggressive amber pour with a dirty off white head on top. Nose is sharp pine needles, pineapple and grass. Quite boozy. Taste is big and aggressive and sticky grass and piney hops. Tropical notes behind it all. Very big for an Aussie take on the style. I like it! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
