3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Bif (1052) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 9, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Served a hazy golden color with a nice head that faded to good lacing. Fresh aroma of pine, fresh fruit, inparticular passionfruit and bit of malt sweetness. Taste on citrus, mild malt sweetness and bit of passionfruit. Nice bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Medium body, crsip, smooth and flavorful. Nicely balanced. Very enjoyable beer. Nice take on the Pale Ale.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 TobyMartin (15) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAR 17, 2013
On tap in a tulip glass at The Local Taphouse, St Kilda on 18/03/13. Pours very light and clear strawberry blonde colour with a small white head. The aroma is mild but pleasant with a light floral hop and even a slightly spiced element. Unfortunately the tasting doesn’t hold up. There is very little flavour coming from hops and the Australian malt profile really fails to deliver with a off biscuit and almost lageresque after-taste. Hint of metal as well? I’m a massive fan of this brewery, especially their brown ale and Imperial range but this is a bit disappointing.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Sevenlee (904) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - MAR 13, 2013
On guest tap at The Local Taphouse, Melbourne. Pours a cloudy golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is malt, plenty of fruit; passionfruit, citrus with some hops. Taste is medium sweet of fruit leading to a moderate bitter finish. Not bad.

Sweet aroma of bubblegum and passionfruit. Rich flavours of fruit, not overly hoppy. Smooth drinking. Would definitely drink regularly if it was more readily available.

Bottle from Slowbeer. Hazy gold/amber, appealing citrus/passionfruit aromas, really nice flavour with lingerig dry bitterness. Another solid product from Mornington.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 johninmelb (1032) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 21, 2012
Good, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit and a bit of candy. Pours a cloudy pale amber with a washing watery consistency and head. Flavour follows the nose with some malt sweetness and a good hop sharpness - notes of dry, estery tang making it moreish and thirst-quenching with a long, dry finish. The brewer has clearly taken a lot from best in breed APAs and endeavoured to produce similar. The results, while still needing some work, are pretty good.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 M_Jager (106) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 8, 2012
Good pale ale. Left a large head, nice citrus flavour. Kind of like the little creatures. Easy to drink, gone before I knew it.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 maneliquor (1700) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAR 28, 2012
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours amber with a small white head. Clings to the glass and leaves a frothy head. Heavy caramel malts and piney hops on the nose. Pine and citrus hops combine with sweet caramel malts. Works nicely and balances well in the taste. Nice beer. Easy drinkability. Reminds me a lot of Little Creatures Pale Ale. Works well
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Brenhophead (392) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JAN 22, 2012
Pours a slightly cloudy light gold with a nice light sweet citrus aroma. Has a decent citrus zesty flavour that is nicely balance with the medium IBU. To sum up a very nice aussie pale and i could see my self drinking a 6 pack of these on a hot summer day like today.
