Beautiful cloudy appearance, almost no head. Very nice beer, easy to drink. Nice finish on the palate. Lemon overtones.

Bottle to glass. Bright, light gold with broken-up head. Wheaty, slightly musky nose. Fresh and crisp, but something missing in terms of flavour. Not too shabby, but they make much better ones than this.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruit, hay, lemon. Taste is mainly lemon and grass with some sorachi. Interesting mix but not sure if it comes off.

Very pale in colour, not much head to speak of. Faintly floral and sweet aroma. Dry sorachi hops are very apparent in the taste but also gives it some cardboard as well. Not bad but could be more balanced with some more complexity.

Bottle from Plonk (March 2014). Slightly hazy pale golden, large frothy white head, lemon, grass/hay, lychee, vanilla, easy drinking kolsch with a massive hop kick. Really good.

Cloudy golden. Fine white head. Fresh, fruity, slight bubblegum, lots of dill. Dill flavor, yeasty. Light body. Interesting.

Light, clean and easy drinking as a Kolsch should be. Has that lemon verbena aroma that Sorachi has. Finished slightly bitter though.

Poured a hazy golden colour with less than 5mm of white bubbles for a head. These bubbles disappeared in an instant. There was no lacing. Carbonation was medium and very coarse and the beer went flat very quickly. Aroma of sour fruit. Taste initially with mild sweetness but then it went unpleasantly bitter and with a very tart after taste. Light body. Smooth mouthfeel but with a tangy bitterness on the finish. Terrible.

Hazy golden pour. Slight floral and citrus aromas. Taste packs a punch of bitter lemon and a slight burnt flavour. Low carbonation, smooth mouthfeel. Very distinct sorachi, but something is a little offensive on the palate that detracts slightly from the pleasant flavours

Very mild aroma. Cloudy golden colour with great head. Nice dark choc hit up front with some hop hits. Med body and carbonations ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
