Cask Handpump at the Old Market Tavern, Altrincham 17/05/2001 Sweet on the palate with some malt flavour. Creamy aftertaste.

Cask Conditioned at The North Arms, Wroxton, Oxon. Pale brown with no head. Flat as a pancake, no condition whatsoever and this was a fresh barrel. Thin watery insipid beer, an absolute stinker.

Light color and consistency. Large bubbles forming on side of glass made it look like 7-Up. Not a bad bitter flavor, but a bit weak. Similarly, rather watery but not bad by comparison to many beers in this style. Some sweetness, for one moment it reminded me of taffy. (on tap, Bookbinders Arms, Jericho, Oxford)
