Cask, Lord Keeper of the Great Seal, Oadby. Amber with a white foam. Aromas are autumn fruit with berries and grain and honey. Flavours are sweet toffee with honey and autumn fruit. Lightly peppery on the finish. OK.

Cask@the bellwether, wednesbury. Hazy golden beer with medium head. Aroma of butter. Taste is butter with some citrus coming through. Diacetyl through and through I am afraid. Will try again.

Hand pulled at the Boldmere Oak, lovely guest ale with a good creamy white head, beautiful hoppy flavour rich golden colour, short lived as it was so popular!

Cask on stillage at the Stag & Hounds, Binfield, at 4% ABV. Amber with a thin translucent head; light, spicy, hoppy, aroma; sweet and full in the mouth with some chewy malts, fruity and spicy; with a lingering finish. A rather good bitter.

tombyars (1348) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - FEB 14, 2012
First tasted this at the Mossend Beer Festival, Lochwinnoch in July 1994. Cask, gravity dispense. Clear garnet in colour with a thin white head. Hint of berry fruit in the short malty aroma. Thin but creamy mouthfeel and good lacing. Mixed malts give a maltloaf base with raisin fruit and maple syrup notes. Dry earthy hops give a tart resiny aftertaste which lingers on the palate. Finish is again dry with oak cask notes. An ok session bitter.

Cask athe prince Albert, Wall Heath. Pours deep brown with a large head. Aroma is faint malt, toast and some citrus hops. Taste is some slight bread to start and a light piney hop finish with some orange. Medium bitterness.

Unretired, The Anchor, Burbage, 10/09/10. Nitro creamy bronze, fat Gilette head. Orange peel and cream aroma- not bad. Monster munch, milk, orange flesh flavour. Yep, beef Monster Munch afters. Holds up surprisingly well against the festival stuff, with some distinct orange hop character. Not bad.

I hate students as well, and rugby is ok but cricket, WTF is that. Perhaps drinking this in a dank, darkly lit, cigarette-fume- soaked basement in a great hall of learning merits an average grade

I had this beer many years ago at one time when I was too lazy and stupid to write my thoughts. I will update this as soon as I get my hands on this beer again.
