2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tasted from bottle on Christmas Day 2008. Not a bad taste, thin lacing. Citrusy with a slight bitter aftertaste. Average.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled at Chris O’s tasting, 26th Sept 2008 and another one courtesy of tashi on 30th Dec 2008. Clear straw colour. Smells of bran and bird food. Light and drinkable palate, but lacking in flavour. I can see what they are trying to do - it does taste like a hybrid between a lager and an ale, but I don’t think this is necessarily a good thing. It’s neither one or the other and will probably fail to appeal to fans of either style.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Golden with a small head. Aromas are biscuit and toast malts with tropical fruit mix. Some citrus and quite peppery. Flavours are dry biscuit and tea with grain. Seems quite stale. Some grapefruit. Dry, bitter and quite characterless on the finish. Its a shame these two got a deal where far better brewers are shunned.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Although the floral aroma isn’t unpleasant, the flavour is, somewhat. It’s all bready malts with a somewhat herbaceous flavour which isn’t nice at all. I wouldn’t buy it again.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Yellow in colour with a very small, fizzy white head. Reasonably hoppy nose with hints of citrus and some floral notes to it. Not what I’d consider to be a Blonde ale in the truest sense as it has far too much (poor) lagery qualities i.e. watery etc. Average melange of hop flavours that one would expect. Fairly bland and uninspired, though not terrible.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
A Mes rate: bottle at the Harry vs Wolfman fist fight.
Pretty awful. Cloudy brown. Tart, almost sour. Too much malt. Crap.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
What a load of shit. This just tastes like Carling with a tad more bitterness. This beer is about as good as Morrissey if funny and who the hell is fox? They shouldn’t have wasted their time.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled, 500ml, from Tesco, Banbury. Gold with no head. Flatter than a witches t*t, which is my appropriatism for today. Filtered? the life had been filtered out of this one, thin, watery, if I had wanted north Yorkshire water i would have bought a different bottle. Little flavour to talk of, some buttery note. The Beer Lao was much better the previous night! Men Brewing Badly.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hops bitter smelling, citrus (oranges). A slightly lighter colour than golden syrup with a very thin head but still gets some lacing on the glass. Bitter taste of hops.
