the appearance was actually very dark for a brwon ale.had a nice creamy white head.aroma was kinda lacking.flavor was a mixture of salt,smoke,chocolate,and caramel.

Not much aroma to speak of over a nice and dark beer. Wonderful maltiness in the flavor.
