Don't pay attn to rating- only wanted to attach a comment months after drinking this. As tropical fruity as it gets, almost like bubblegum. Very different, not exactly my thing but glad to have tried it and good for those who like sweet and fruity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled@Tuulensuu, Tampere (old backlog). Hazy yellow colour with a mediumsized white head, which disappears quite quickly. Aroma is mild acidic wood, some sweetness, citrus and mild yeastiness. Flavour is citrus, some yeast, mild acidic/tart wooden notes as well as some herbs. Kind of sweetish sour, which is pleasant.

On tap at Mort Subite in Brussels. Pours a hazy pale yellow color, topped with a solid and lasting white head. Flat. Very fruity aroma, some mango notes are present as well as some spices. Starts with a very mild hardly noticeable sweetness, followed by some gentle spiceness and no bitterness. Slight bittery herbal aftertaste.

Drunk from 25cl bottle bought at Delhaize in Brussels. Overly sweet lambic based beer. Cloying taste of artificial sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours in yellow hazy body with low white head. Aroma has strong peach bubblegum character, light spiciness. Taste has medium dry sweetness with no bitterness, fruity bublegum character in the after taste. Good drinkability. Body is full, medium carbonation. Bitterness appear in the after taste after a while.

25cl bottle as Witte Lambic. Hazy pale yellow pour, moussy head. Smells like Aldi jam on margarine, sweaty wheat and artificial lemonade, foreboding the added artificial aromas and sugar to come. More flat margarine in taste: this really needs to be drunk chilled Budweiser style. Slight wheat fruitiness coming through, white bread and koriander surviving the artificial onslaught. No lambic character whatsoever, as this sludge has been mixed on the basis of sweetened lambic. Summer beach chugging only. Timmermans has done this a tad better.

Draft as Mort Subite Witte Lambiek. Pours a hazy golden beer with a big frothy white head on top. Aroma is very floral and tropical fruits, peaches, lemon and a slight bready note. Flavor is medium sweet, slight sour touches. Can not really get the Lambic note here, but certainly the characteristics of a decent Belgian Wit, which is good for me. Suits the style perfectly and can’t wait to try this again on a hot summers day! Really refreshing and thirst quenching.

Tasted as Mort Subite Witte Lambic. An imitation of a genre invented by Timmermans, which is essentially supposed to represent a hybrid between witbier and sweetened ’capsulekensgeuze’. This was a hazy yellowish beer looking a lot like witbier, with a soft, sweet and somewhat sugary character with hints of cider, lemon and pineapple, as well as witbier features. Not undrinkable but I don’t like these ’witte lambics’ very much, I’m afraid: too sweet for me.

Gedronken als Mort Subite Witte Lambic, niet slecht, maar toch niet echt mijn ding.
