Bottled (BBE 2007), not sure how long this has been in my coldcellar. Deep rubyreddish colour with small off-white head. Aroma is lots of black currants and other dark berries with some mild sourness to it. Flavour is quite much the same with some slight artificial notes as well as also blueberries.

26 Aug 2006 - Big sweet blackcurrant aroma. medium brown colour, ok head and ordinary lacing. Sweet lolly blackcurrant and a touch sour flavour. Finishes with a cloying sweet blackcurrant.

Bottle, bought @ Kulminator, Antwerpen.
[Vintage 2003]
Pours a deep pale red with a good, frothy off white head - impressive for a lambic. Aroma is sweet with lots of black currants, some oak and a slight tartness. Great creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet at first with lots of black currants and raspberries. A slight tartness hits at the far end along with a little barnyard and muskiness. For people who like fx. Melbourn Brth., this would be their cassis.

Tart enough to relieve what could otherwise become cloying sweetness. Has a seductive nose. Mort Subite cassis is accessible enough and I’d return to it now and then. It’s a fun beer but I don’t appreciate the baby sized 25 cl bottles.

I used to love this, it had loads of zippy blackcurrant flavours, was very refreshing. Not seen it for a few years though.

Bottle: Poured brown color with a light cream brown head. Tangy hair popping blue berry aroma. Somewhat sour blueberry flavor and dry malt finish.

Lots of head...smells of cough syrup...big head, like champagne outta the bottle...A+ lacing...sweet refreshing, easy going, and DeliCouS! lower bitters, just OK....great but nothing overboard.
