Rich tangy currant aroma, slightly champagne-like. Reddish brown with stiff thick head. Flavor and mouthfeel are drier than Lindeman’s fruit lambics. You can also taste more of the beer than just the fruit. Closer to the taste of the taste of a gueze than Lindeman’s as well with the sourness.

RE-Rate: well, it is quite sweet, but manages to keep a slight tart edge, and a dry-ish finish, but very ’ish’. I don’t mind this stuff to tell you the truth, a little bit artificial, but OK, tastes like very good Ribena.

Amber/pink, decent amount of froth and bubble. Sweet blackcurrant aroma, a little over done. Likewise the taste, too sweet and fruity, not very sour or crisp. Not that I found it offensive, just not adult enough for my palate ;-p

Again, mort subite/Belle Vue thinness in body. Lacking in complexity but choice of fruit makes this interesting.

Tonight is rather warm here in east Flanders and it really is getting to be Lambic time, which I’ve been waiting for all year. So to the beer! Rose orange clear with faint pink-beige medium lasting head and a nice finr lace curtain left on the glass. Excellent delicate but strong aromas including sour and sweet black currants, boiled lollies, bubblegum, banana and those candy cigarettes you used to get in the 1960’s. Palate is clean, crisp and biting but not too sweet or sour for me. Soft refreshing mildly sour finish and sweetish aftertaste. As radiomgb says - ’tastes real good’!.Definitely one for mum but I could easily knock back a half dozen on a night like this.

Strong artificial cassis aroma. Red color, pink frothy head, nice lace. Sweet, very cassis, not as bad as expected but where is the oak? Sweet finish. My wife loved it.

Deep red color, big pink head, good lace. Minty berry aroma, slightly tart. This interesting slightly minty taste carries through in the body and flows into a slightly tart palate. Fairly good brew.
