2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 1/20
Extrem süß und kaum sauer. Nur wenig Brett. Warum? Ernsthaft, ich hatte eine Gueuze erwartet, keinen Softdrink.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Se questo è il prodotto da battaglia della mitica Mort Subite, mi sa che la battaglia è persa. Sciropposa e dolciastra, l’acido perde tutta la sua spontaneità degenerando in qualcosa che non ha niente a che fare con le vere gueuze.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled, 37.5 cl.
Shows a clear amber with a medium sized white head, which leaves a thin film behind.
Mild vinegary nose.
Tasteing starts crisp followed in the aroma by sugar, mild caramel, apples, some hints of wood and wheat, mouthfeel is slick.
Finishes rather sweet than tart escorted by sugar, mild vinegary notes and hops.
An easy drinkable brew to discover the style.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. Clear amber. Bubbly, white head. Aroma is wheat, with tart, red fruit. Some crab apple acidity. Taste is lightly acidic. Underlying, light toffee sweetness. Crisp palate. Some sourness on the finish, with some sweetness (too much, for me) at the end.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a clear golden color with a small tan head. The smell is yeast, citrus. The taste is a sweet gueuze with tastes of iron, mild citrus, yeast ending with a sweet and slightly mix and dryness on the tongue. Light body and a bit slick with decent carbonation. Not a gueuze that I am particularly infatuated with.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from the heart of Brussels. The atmosphere of the cozy restaurant in the Grand Place couldn't fool me...this is an average beer. Aroma of apples. Mouthfeel is thick and bubbly - less refined. Taste was sweet, to a point of diminishing the sour.
