3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Orange, big white fluffy head. Aroma is acidic apples and barnyard. Taste is pretty sour apples, citric notes and some sweetness. Dryish finish, thin body. Not overly interesting, but OK.

A: Pours an orange golden ale with single finger light tan head which falls quickly to a quilt of the same. Central cylinder of carb rises centrally from the bottom. Cobweb lacing.
S: Hints of wild yeast in with a ton of sweetness. My initial thought is this is more like a Faro than a Gueuze. Sweet syrupy smells.
T: First thought - artificial orange concentrate. It’s hard to get past, but then I find some copper kettle, burnt sugar. A bit of cheap sweet and sour sauce.
M: Thin body with low to moderate fine carbonation. Near dry finish.
O: This beer is far from what a Gueuze tastes like in my experience. This is super sweet and syrupy.

250ml bottle from the Beer Cellar. Strong sour aroma which was quite good. Big head that fades quickly. Great flavour, not as sour as some but good all the same.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours clear copper with medium frothy white head with lasting lacing. Notes of apples, barnyard, cinnamon, floral, orange. Decent drink. Would probably be pretty good on a hot summer day.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
250 ml bottle into a tulip. ABV 4.5%
Pours a very deep orange copper colour on the body, with a good sized head. white in colour, thin density. Average retention, light lacing on the glass.
Aroma of white grapes, little sour, light candy sugar.
Taste is sweet with a touch of sourness on the finish. Again, white grapes, light red fruits, sugars.
Thin on the body, okay cabonation.
Overall a decent one, a little bit too sweet.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hard to rate as I have not had many gueze, but this was tart, sour, light, refreshing. Thin in the mouth, but mild bubbly and formed a nice head. Nice dark honey color. Some fruitiness.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rated from beer log during 2009 Belgium trip... Light brown orange in color, thin white head... Slightly tart aroma, not terribly aromatic though... Taste is sour and tart, but the finish is sweet on the palate... Reminds me of a cider if drunk quickly... Pretty good, totally different then the other beers had on the trip, light... Nice
