Amber colored lambic beer with small head, and a heavy soursweet flavour.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
25cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours clear golden with a modest, white head. Mild fruity aorma with light barnyard notes, sour berries and hints of sugar. Sweet, acidic and rather mild in flavour. Too sweet and mild for my taste, but fair enough.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Not having drank geuze before, i cant compare this to others from this style. Nice carbonation, aroma of dry apple. Taste follows the aroma well, dry apple cider kind of one, but better, and some toffee. Some acids too. Really nice

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
So I’m biased on this one probably because it was a twelve year old bottle that the bartender at Delirium Cafe pulled out of the cellar. But it was amazing, still bright and bubbly, huge funk, subtle complexity.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2016 25 cl bottle, served in flute glass. Poured clear amber with a two finger off white head. Lively carbonation in glass. Aroma: Peach, champagne, grapes, green apples, cider. Taste: Apricot, peach, green grapes, green apples, some funk, strawberry. Medium body with a very sweet, fruity finish with a little hint of tart in the background. A very sweet geuze, too sweet to my liking. Tastes almost like a fruit lambic. Clearly a commercial Geuze. Other giveaways are: Small 25 cl bottle instead of 37,5 or 75 cl. And capped instead of corked? Then it’s a ’capsulekensgeuze’.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
its not often that i keep smelling the beer and then smelling the beer in appreciation, this is that time. the aroma is like crisp fresh bread, i can almost taste the soft dough, making me hungry. the beer pours into a light yellow with a minimal white head. although the aroma did have signs of vinegar it isn’t until the taste that you really get the flavor. once you taste it the flavor almost become like dipping the fresh bread into some nice oil and vinegar. i look forward to buying it again and will definitely savor this taste.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Farbe: helles umbra.
Nase: säuerlich komplex, apfel most keller, zitrone, holz
Geschmack: frisch sauer apfelig, feinperlig im nachgeschmack nach getreide und ein bisschen orange, sonst dominiert die säure.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
25cl bottle. Pours gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma is sugary sweet funk. Taste is perhaps sweeter than expected, light, with hints of pear and honey. Wouldn’t have put this as a gueuze in a blind tasting. Lacks any sour aspects.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2016 Vinegary, a bit sour, bubbly. While drinking it I was not even sure I liked it. Now I want more.
