Pours a deep purple with red highlights and a soft pink head. There’s a lot of lacing on this and a swirl effortlessly reinvigorates the head. The nose is of sweet cherries, almost of the preserved morello type, apple juice and a very faint note of wet forest floor. In the mouth it’s very sweet but as it nears the sides of the palate one can reach for a slight tartness. There’s not much in the way of wood and there’s definitely nothing funky. It finishes with an increasing dryness but not enough to counter the sugary side of the beer. It could be more acidic, more woody and absolutely more funky.

Ruby red color, soapy white head with big time lacing. Aroma is very sweet, sour cherries, tart, and a pinch of alcohol. Powerful sour flavor without inducing a pucker. Light bodied, flavorful, and nicely carbonated. Excellent!

At Mort Subtle; good beer. Standard cherry color. Taste was OK, somewhat sour with the Cherry. Definitely enjoyed both the Framboise and Peach more than this one.

(bottle) clear red colour with tall pink head; aroma of cherries, cereal; balanced clean taste, not cloying, not overpoweringly cherry, more like a wheat with a bit of cherry

Bottle from a Brussels supermarket. It pours a slightly cloudy deep red liquid, with small-medium lasting white head. The aroma is nice: geuze beer, cherry, fresh wheats; it reminds the red heart-shaped candies for kids. It tastes good, very sweet but balanced, with interesting malt notes; there is a nice geuze beneath. Palate is smooth, with balanced carbonation, a hint of bitterness, but sweet above all. It is a good beer to try and drink on occasion, and one of the most available krieks out there; not the best one, though.

Same bottle as pictured. Poured a clear red with thick pink head. Notice the cherries in the aroma right away. Not terribly complex but a nice and refreshing beer.
