25 cl. bottle. Clear, red colour and a mostly lasting, large pale pink head that left a thin but uniform lacing. Sour fruits and a tart-ish "kriek", light funk and hints of yeasts in the aroma. Medium sour taste with notes of cherry bittersweetness that lasted well. Medium carbonation with a light body. A bit artificial in some of the taste components, however a nice beer.

(37.5 cl, SAQ) Une tête rocailleuse flotte avec solidité sur un liquide rouge. Une dentelle décore le verre. Au nez, les notes surettes se cherchent tandis que les cerises, le massepain et le sirop de maïs rendent l’affaire attrayante et bruyante. Au goût, les papilles sont lasses, caressées par des cerises et du sucre blanc. En bouche, le liquide a un corps moyennement dense. Les bulles qui traversent le verre sont modérément actives. La texture est finement huileuse. La finale me rappelle les bonbons Jolly Rancher. Il me semble bien que j’ai déjà bu dans les années 80 une Mort Subite Kriek beaucoup plus mordante. Était-ce la même?

375mL bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear red, with a light pink head. Aroma is nice and full of cherries. Taste is fairly nice; mostly cherries and little beer. Feels smooth on the tongue with very small bubbles. Pretty nice, but I think I slightly prefer its Framboise cousin.

Bouteille verte de 375 ml, avec bouchon de liège, achetée à la SAQ Centropolis (Laval, QC). Arôme: Odeur de cerises légèrement sûrettes. Apparence: La couleur est rouge. Présence d’un moyen col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement vineuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de cerises en arrière goût. (Rating #4008)

Pour is a dark pink copper little white. Smell is sweet cherry candy. Taste is really sweet lots of marachino cherry flavors, slight tart twinge, mild overall. There really isn’t a lot of body pretty drinkable, if you like cherries.

Pours dark red. with decent lacing. Strong aroma of cherry. flavour is sweet and cheery, minor sour notes. minimal bitterness.
