Dark red with a frothy pink head. Quite a lot of carbonation. Taste was rather syrupy at first, but tartness came to dominate with just a hit of bittereness.

0.375 L bottle, bbe Nov 06. Shiny, light ruby red, hazy, weak sparkling, lacy pinkish head. Candy sugar aroma with cherries in the background and nuts and oak wood further behind. Sweet, flavoured chewing gum taste, again a bit nutty in the background. Just slightly tart, little lambic character. Syrupy palate.

Particular lambic aromatized to the cherry Interesting, but it is not my kind of beer.

From a 375ml bottle, cork dated 2/04. Pours a clear cherry/amber color with a light pink frothy head. Lots of fine lace. Smells of tart cherry with hints of light spice. Tastes tart and lightly sweet, some sweet spice and not much else. Mouth is not sticky, not overly sweet, even a bit crisp. This beer is tasty, nothing wrong with it but nothing special.

It has a nice cherry and a slightly sour flavour. A nice lambic. (Bottle 25cl)

La puntuacion lo dice todo. Demasiado gasificada. Es de las peores cervezas aromatizadas que hay en el mercado.

Vintage 2003: This poured out a deep orange/pink body with a minimal head. The aroma is a funky kind of a dark cherry smell. It’s a well balanced sweet-sour drink with neither side dominating... until the mildly tart finish. Nice cherry flavor.

(Bottle 37,5 cl) Nothing looks prettier than a kriek in a glass with it’s tall, fluffy pinkish head. And nothing quences your thirst any better on a hot summer’s day - well, almost nothing. This is a beautiful, deep red. Some fruity sweetness without being cloying. A beer that awakes a yearning for summer.... 190294
