COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Kriek Mort Subite is brewed according to the ancestral lambic recipe. This original Belgian beer ferments spontaneously. Enriched with cherries, it matures soft and slowly in oaken casks. To be served cool.

Too sweet. This beer is too much like soda pop. Bright red colour and very fizzy. If the sweetness could be dialled down this could be alright, but as is, way too much sugar.

Clear light red with small bubbly pink head. Berries, sour cherry, mild sour lambic with very light malts. Taste is medium sour with slight sweetness, bit metallic finish. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation. Nice stuff, not too sweet, very refreshing. Not very complex though.

375ml green bottle, corked. Gold with a pink tint, soapy pinkish head with some sticky lace. Nose has sweet cherries. Taste has light cherries with some sweetness and a slightly tart finish with a little mustiness and oak. Overall a light and pretty basic Kriek, not something I would need to have again.

Bottled, 25 cl. Clear ruby red colour, fluffy creamy pinkish headon its top, which laces. Smell of cherries. Aroma containing sugar, cherries and bread, mouthfeel is slick. Sweet-tart, fruity finish escorted by some hops. O.K., but nothing outstanding.

Bottle. Sweet cherries and candy on the nose, a touch of yeast. Flavour is a nice balance of sweet, sour and tart; easy drinking. Pretty one-note though, fairly light bodied.

Pours a clear reddish copper, a large quick dissipating light pink head that sticks nicely on the glass. Aroma is sweet cherries and tart cherries. Flavour is sweet cherries, mild tart/sour. More sweet than sour which is opposite of what I would like to see.

12.7 oz corked bottle pours a pinkish amber. Nice aroma of cherries. Taste is also cherries and more sweet than tart. It has a slight sourish like belgium yeast funk. It is balanced even though it has an artificial quality to it. Fizzy like champagne. Good not great.

25cl bottle. Some artificial aromas and flavours in this one. Very sweet, sirupy, almost cloying.

Smak och doft av jäst, körsbär, svarta vinbär och tranbär och toner av trä. Lagom sötma, liten syrlighet och kolsyra. Jämn och fin men känslan är lite artificiell i smakerna. Lätt beska.
