[2037-20090313] 375mL bottle. Plastic candy cherry aroma, mild. Clear, red orange body with a medium-lasting foamy light pink head. Sweet cherry flavour has a hint of plastic. Medium body. Fair.

A clear rose/red colored beer, with a white/rose head. The aroma of sweet fruits with a little sourness. The aroma is fresh, it is the flavor of sweet cherries. There are hints of sour in the back. The aftertaste is very little some dry and some sweet.

I found this is Brussels, Belgium. I’d read much about it so I thought I’d try it. It has a very strong cherry flavor, not unlike the cough syrup of my childhood. A bit more carbination than I cared for. Not so much my thing, but if you enjoy fruit beers, sweet in taste, this is for you.

Bottle, c&c. Pinkish red color with a frothy off-white head. Dusty cherry aroma. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Mild sweet/sour cooking cherry flavor. Not much wood. Actually not much anything after the cherry. Good drink, but not smashing.

Bottle. Clear reddish body with a medium, long lasting, dense, pink head. It has a very pleasant aroma of dry cherries when cold. As it warms up it sweetens and some sour notes comes trough as well. It’s thin bodied with a vague flavour of cherries. The aftertaste has weak plastic like note.

Bottle. One of the best Kriek, aroma is mostly funky cherry and yeasty, cherry red with a thick pink head.

Nice and dry sour cherry. Fruity goodness and bubbly. Nice puckering and sweet. A little wooden smoothness and vanilla. Nice.

Bottle. Body is clear amber-redish. Head is pink. Aroma has strawberry, malt, sweets and rubber. Flavor is sweet from cherries.
