3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 KyotoLefty (3480) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 6, 2011
Draught at A la Mort Subite. Lightish red color with a rather faint cherry and cream nose. Sweet but not insanely so: flavors of yogurt, some almond, vanilla, wood. Not terrible.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 txspartan (602) - Wilrijk, BELGIUM - AUG 5, 2011
Less of a candy flavour that other kriek beers I know. There is an appropriate sourness to it.

375mL bottle poured ruby red with foamy pinkish head and very light lacing. Aromas of cherries and some wood and yeast. Tastes of tart cherries with a little sweetness. Light to medium body and decent carbonation and nice tingling on the tongue.

(draft @ Tap and Mallet - Rochester, NY) Ruby red pour with a thick pink head. Sweet and fruity cherry jam aroma with some very mild dry malts. Flavor is very sweet and fruity with a slightly tart cherry finish. Smooth and really good for a dessert beer.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 teorn88 (567) - Rimini, ITALY - JUL 30, 2011

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 EdKing (772) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 29, 2011
Pours red with big white foamy head. Nose is sweet sugary cherries, sour cider and sugary candy. Taste is sweet cherries and sour lambic cidery beer on the finish. Result is like a cheap fizzy wine although sweet and sour combination is interesting.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 charlotte (3126) - rødovre, DENMARK - JUL 17, 2011
Bottle.Deep rubin red colour with medium white head.Aroma is sweet of cherrys and acid, even less suor then many other krieks, this is far to sweet with thin slight watery finish.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Stephanos (617) - NORTHERN IRELAND - JUL 15, 2011
Antiseptic and cough syrup cherries dominate the nose of this kriek. Deep ruby red with a bright white head that regenerates on swirling the glass. Sweet cherries with the same horseblanket/hay background as the gueuze. Not as artificial as I was expecting from the aroma but pretty one dimensional. Medium carbonation and a slight sourness in the finish.
