On Tap at Sunset Grill in Allston MA. Clear redish is color. Thick white bubbly head. Aroma of cherry sweet tarts. Smooth, sweet, clean with a slightly tart finish. Good after dinner drink. Very good beer. I would order again.

Bottle from the LCBO. Wasn’t expecting much. Pours a ruby red with a bubbly white foam that fades instantly. Aroma is children’s cough syrup. Flavour is much more profound, can feel the oakiness in the body, but overripe cherry and artificial sweetness dominate the palate. Not a beer I would share or offer, but one I can appreciate.

Could have been worse. Not the worst I’ve ever tasted in this style, not the best either. Pretty average.

Easy to drink kriek. Usually don’t like krieks, this one scored nice though.

Wässriger, mäßig kirschiger Antrunk, die Süße hält sich zum Glück soweit zurück, dass auch säuerliche Töne aufkommen können. Im Mittelteil etwas kirschiger, das Bier wirkt etwas aromatischer, dennoch ist es im Vergleich zu anderen Krieks sehr mild. Zum Abgang hin wird das Bier saurer, Die Aromenintensität ist nun angenehm. Im Sommer dürfte dieses Kriek hervorragend als Erfrischung sein!

Bottle. Clear red colour with a reddish head. Aroma and flavour of sugar and cherries. Nice and easy to drink.

This was my last drink after visiting nine breweries and blenders during Toer de Geuze 2011.Patchy surface to a reddish body. Smell of cherries and herbal dryness. Almond with cherries in flavour. Tart and sweet on the swallow. Really not my kind of beer, possible to drink, though (Kobbegem, 01.05.2011).

Draft at Huppel. Pours clear red with pink head. Aroma is sweet cherry syrup. Flavor is cherries with sugar. Too much sugar. The artificial sweetness is way to much and I couldn’t get past it to any sourness that may have originally been there.
