3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ndon (857) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 14, 2011
On tap at CASK Pub & Kitchen. Pours a dark pink/red, with a medium pinkish white head. Cherry bomb on both the nose and in the taste, with sweet sugar, slightly sour and a bitter finish. I thought this was quite nice

Draft. Pours red with a thin pink head. Fresh fruity cherry aroma. The flavor is sugary sweet cherry. Not bad.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Metalchopz (1173) - Quebec, CANADA - MAR 9, 2011
Originally rated March 2009. This kriek pours a hazy strawberry red with lots of carbonation. Its big head is fluffy, off-white pink coloured, with good retention and leaves lots of lacing all around. Aromas of sourness and cherry, with noted of berries, like strawberries. Best before date notched off the front label is April 2010. The taste is not as powerful as I remembered. Not really sour like I remember it. Just a little cherry, a little candy, slight sourness at the start, but really not much anymore. Short finish. I also see in the ingredients listed, corn. Is this new ? Too bad, I use to like this kriek a lot before, but it seems everywhere in the world, that they weaken their brews.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 thb (439) - Alberta, CANADA - FEB 15, 2011
Pours fairly deep, clear, red with mountains of pinky foam. Aromas principally sour cherry, as you’d expect. Beer is hidden in behind but there’s a hint of breadiness maybe. Touch of yeast. Sugar-sweetness balanced with noticeable sour. Tiny, lively bubbles - a bit champagney.
3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Hammy78 (441) - Dundas, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 16, 2011
Bottle sample purchased at the LCBO. Pours a red basically, with a pillowy pink head and leaves some decent lace. Aroma is of cherry. Taste is also of sweet cherry, maybe some hop. I found it slightly bitter too. Not really for me.

375ml bottle from LCBO. Pours more red than brown in colour, huge frothy pinky head. Aroma and taste are dominated by cherry, although it is not too strong to seem like it’s fake. I really like this, especially with dessert.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2011 Keg (Brew Wharf, London)
6 Fruity raspberry aroma
3 Pinky red. Bold. Scary, perhaps
6 Tastes both of rasperry and cherry
3 Crisp and fizzy palate
13 Very fruity, and with a disgusting amount of raspberry. Can’t fight the urge - I like this, no matter how pink it is.
Rerate: 250ml bottle (Smatch, Bruges) (5:2:4:2:8=2.1)
5 Tapwatery, some gentle cherry
2 Clear bright red, light pink head
4 Oh-so-dull watery cherry taste
2 Sweet, sticky, but also watery. OK crbonation. Finish almost nonexistent after an initial tartness.
8 Didn’t do it for me at all. Too tapwatery.
