zpours clear red with a small, frothy off-white to light pink head. Aroma has light cherries, light tartness and some funkiness. Mouthfeel is light with relatively high carbonation. Flavour is mildly fruity, light tartness. There is not so much taste in here - not as artificial as some of the chapeau for example. Okay and quite drinkable.

Jun 10, 2008 clear dark red pour, nice pinkish head. Aroma is of cherries obviously, but it’s a tad artificial, it also reminds me of black cherry ice cream. The flavour is very sweet, and just a tad sour, but barlely. Some decent cherry notes in the flavour, but again, a tad artifical. Meh, not bad, but too sweet overall.

Jun 2, 2008 Draft at Mort Subite in Brussels. Crystal clear ruby red colored body with a pink billowy head. Flavor of candied sweet and syrupy cherries, with a light sprite/cola brightness throughout. Soft carbonation, and overall pale and empty, lacking depth. More like cherry soda than lambic, but it does has some creamed fruit/milk notes to help balance the sugar, but overall it’s very sweet and purely commercial.

May 24, 2008 Pours a fruit punch red with a white head. Aroma is light, sour fruit. The flavour is well crafted, sweet, sour, well balanced, the right carbonation. The palate is a tad syrupy but I sort of expected it would be. All and all a tasty brew.

May 19, 2008 Bottle, LCBO. Clear red, soemwhat foamy white head that diminishes quickly. Mild cherry nose, not bad. Lots of cherry in taste, all up front, giving way to mild cherry/raspberry linger.Well carbonated,a little light for me. This starts and finishes quickly, which is too bad as I enjoy some of the flavours here. Not bad.

May 11, 2008 91 vintage bottle nicely brought to Bill’s sour tasting. Pours reddish, with a lil cherry nose, cherry is there in the flavor least favorite of the 3 mort subite 91 vintages I had that day.
