Bottle. 2004 Vintage. Reddened amber with a blsuhing pink head. Nose is cherry with sour notes. Taste is sweet-sour cherry, light wood, cherry cough syrup and candy notes. Body is light and bubbly. Has some light dryness to it. Finishes sweet with light tart cherry flavors.

(25cl Bottle) Pours a medium sized white head that dissipates quickly and a ruby body. Aroma of sour cherries. Flavours of initial sour and acidic cherry blending into a sweet dry finish. Good.

Red with a slight brown tint. Constant carbonation. Slight pink head. Tangy cherry aroma. As one would expect, cherries dominate the flavor profile. Some citrus flavors, too, and tart finish. Manages to be both tart and rich through to the end, with a hint of oak and red wine in the finish.

Bottle.
Light cloudy pinkish red colour with pink-white foam - beautiful! Aroma from almonds, marzipan, little cherry stone and the slightest of vanilla. Flavour is laid back cherries and not awfully sweet but there are probably added sugars. Very good balance and easy drinkable.

Dutch ratebeer meeting. Bottled 0.7 liter, best before 1990. Orange-amber coloured. Fine kriek. Old oak aroma, cork, sweet cherry 'krieken'. Bit sirupy, but not too much. More sour than sweet, which is a thing i like.

Average appearance for a cherry beer. the flavour and aroma is not overly sour and the beer leaves a fizz in the mouth when initially consumed. The beer provides a gentle introduction to the style.

Bottle (25 cl), thanks rickgordon. Ruby red with a creamy pink head. Fresh cherry aroma with some tart cidery grapefruit, and wooden notes. Soft carbonation. Well balanced with a light sweetness, gentle acidity and some vague grapefruit bitterness interplaying.
