May 19, 2008 Bottle, LCBO. Clear red, soemwhat foamy white head that diminishes quickly. Mild cherry nose, not bad. Lots of cherry in taste, all up front, giving way to mild cherry/raspberry linger.Well carbonated,a little light for me. This starts and finishes quickly, which is too bad as I enjoy some of the flavours here. Not bad.

Jun 3, 2006 Bottle: Courtesy of Styles. Lots of sweet cherry with some moderate tartness and vinegar in the aroma. Pours a hazy amber with a small soapy white head. Decent lacing. Starts with moderate vinegar and cherry but then quickly turns to a sugary sweet cherry. Finishes lightly woody. A simple example of the style, but I like the cherry flavors, even if a little sweet.

Jul 2, 2004 Cherry aroma, somewhat astringent-bitter. Tannic, not too sweet. Light hops. Dull cranberry pink clear with off-pink lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Light chalky finish. Starts with decent acidity, light cherry flavor, and papery. Light hops. Finish is still acidic, with medium bitterness. Cherry flavor pronounced, but not very smooth. Astringent, alum. Light sour-sweet after. Not a great kriek.

Feb 19, 2002 The nose is a little Kool-Aid-like. Ruby red color. Kinda dry, with a grassy finish. Creamy, cherry taste dominates. Maybe a little unbalanced?

May 4, 2008 Bottle from the LCBO. Clear ruby-red with a large pink head that leaves some beautiful lacing. Aroma of tart cherries with a slight woody character and a floral hint. Medium bodied. Flavour is very fruit forward - cherry, obviously, but also a bit of currant and cranberry - with a nice sweet-tart balance. Finishes moderately dry, with notes of oak and quick hops. Certainly not the most complex or exciting kriek out there, but still a nice refresher.

Nov 4, 2003 This beer is quite brilliantly cherry colored. The nose contains a bit of cherry as well as an aroma of acidity. With the bright red color I was expecting a quite sweet product. I was pleasantly surprised when it was only subtly sweet. The light sweetness balanced well with the cherry flavor and the natural acidity of the base Lambic.

Aug 20, 2006 Bottle from BelgianShop.com. Pours cherry red with a nice head and ghostly, spider web lacing. Aroma is strawberry and cherry. Flavor is like a cherry Icee with alcohol. Very restrained flavors. More assertiveness is needed. Jags the tongue like smooth shards of glass. Inconsistnent mouthfeel. Average.
