Jul 13, 2008 Bottle (25 cl), thanks rickgordon. Ruby red with a creamy pink head. Fresh cherry aroma with some tart cidery grapefruit, and wooden notes. Soft carbonation. Well balanced with a light sweetness, gentle acidity and some vague grapefruit bitterness interplaying.

Sep 10, 2002 Aroma...Cherry! :-) Wonderful purple frothy head and a red purple body. Not to sweet cherry-flavor, well balanced between sweetnes and sourness. Fizzy carbonation and very crisp.

Mar 19, 2004 Bottle – Poured a reddish brew with good carbonation. Aroma of cherries is overpowering with nothing else coming out in terms of aroma. Taste is bit too much cheery with not enough tart and tannic. Overall, this one is very refreshing but not the best from Mort Subite, nor close to the great kriek lambic.

Mar 6, 2008 bottle. thanks to xnoxhatex for the sample. Pours an odd amber-copper color with off white head. Nose is interesting yeast, old, musty, some odd artifical cherry aroma. Flavor is much of the same, flavor is sweet but not overly so, cherry notes are faint and fake tasting, a pretty bad mess of flavors with nothing dominating. Blah. 2.8.

Mar 10, 2004 Updated: Apr 11, 2005375 ml corked bottle (champagne style). Enormous thick head, red colour, aroma is cherries (no surprise!) and red wine vinegar. Flavour is not nearly as sweet as Lindemans Kriek, quite dry really. Light bodied, but lots of cherries of course. Refreshing. Initially a little peppery bite. Moderately acidic.
