Aromas of cocktail cherries, raspberry and grape juice... Very smooth, medium / light bodied... Sweetness is predominant but hides a subtile yet very blanced bitterness. Flavors of cherries, grapes, raspberries, basically same as aromas... no big surprise. Enjoyable summer beer. HermanW (634), Coevorden, Netherlands

Very mild sour cherry aroma and that’s it, simple but non-offensive smell. Taste is also very mild and simple, hints of cherry and apple juice with just some light malt. Flavour is actually just more sour then it has flavour. Has a powdery quality to it with a very dry finish. Very drinkable but this lacks any complexity and it just sucks compared to others." | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 7, 2009 Poured out looking very much like a darker pink champagne, with a frothy pink head topping a body of what could’ve passed for cream soda. Aroma featured red cherries as did the taste. Mouthfeel was a bit on the thin side of the scale, and it finished acceptably. dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pours a clear cherry/amber color with a light pink frothy head. Lots of fine lace. Smells of tart cherry with hints of light spice.
Tastes tart and lightly sweet, some sweet spice and not much else. Mouth is not sticky, not overly sweet, even a bit crisp. This beer is tasty, nothing wrong with it but nothing special.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 30, 2006 L’Aca, on tap. Not expecting much from this. Pretty much came in here only because it’s 5 am, I don’t have a hostel, and this place is open 24 hours. I was pretty much only looking for some delicious cherry to pass the time, and I got it. And that’s pretty much all I got. This is exactly like a pale version of New Glarus Belgian Red, a nice round and juicy cherry flavor with some warm malty things going on around it (but much less complexity and body than NG Belgian Red). Murky ruby red with pink head, island and dusting on the top with sudsy and inconsistent lacing. Racing is deep but uninteresting. Smell is straight maraschino cherry: not complex, but delicious. Great girly beer. Diogène (584), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Hazy pink with a medium foamy pink-white head. Very good retention and minimal lacing. Taste is sweet and tart with cherries and malt. Sweet aftertaste. Medium body with a foamy mouthreel.
