Cherry and vinegar on the nose, smells very sweet. Cherry color, fizzy head. Taste is the cherry upfront, quickly dissipating to a citric sourness and a dry finish. Very carbonated and medium body. Tastes a bit artificial and overly sweet to enjoy any large quantity of this one.

(Backlog) 2006 Bottle. Ruby pour with pink head. Tart cherry and lactic aromas. Tart and light sweet cherry flavors, however not over the top.

Bottle from an Auschan store in France. Fruity smell with cherries and some cellar notes in the background. Mostly cherries in the taste as well but also almonds and that earthy cellar note.

Bottle. Nose is cherry, a little wood and must. Taste is thin, a touch of sour, leading to a flat cherry syrup taste, with a slightly stale woody tone in the middle. Mouthfeel is nice. It’s a beer that falls between too stoles, neither sour and complex enough for a proper drinker, nor was sweet enough for my partner who enjoys a commercial cherry beer.

Red colour with a pink head, disappearing. Smell is cherry, a bit artificial but not so much. Taste is sour, cherry but nor syrupy, some wood notes too. Quite refreshing mouthfeel. Not bad, better than many others of this kind.

25 cl bottle. Pours deep red with a minimal head. Nose has sweet cherries, some light grain and raspberries. Taste is fairly sweet with tons of cherries and red berries.

250 ml bottle. Pours a clear red colour with a tall, fluffy pink head. Aroma is sour cherry. Flavour is sweet cherry with a dry, bitter finish. Light body, syrupy texture and soft carbonation.
