matt7215 (554), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Apr 18, 2008 375 ml bottle from the LCBO. pours bright reddish/ brown with a big pink head. aromas are very soft with some cherry and some funk. flavours are similarily soft with more sweetness then the nose. decent lambic burried underneath the cherry. very easy to drink and enjoyable on a hot day but the price is so inflated it makes this treat a rare one.
KimJohansen (3171), Copenhagen V, Denmark Aug 26, 2008 Clear red with pink head. Sweet aroma with artificial cherries and almond notes. Sweet flavor that holds notes of marzipan and cherries. Ends sweet. mgermani (591), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Aug 20, 2008 Pours a pale pink with a paler pink head with decent retention. Light sweet artificial cherry smell. Tastes like cherry pop, watery, drinkable though, rather inoffensive. Ok carb, thin body. Quaffable, bland. DuffMan (1935), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Aug 15, 2008 Pours a lovely dark pink, hazy. Black cherries dominate the aroma and flavour, with a slightly lactic and musty edge to add character. A nice summertime sipper. Blom (641), Odense, Denmark Aug 9, 2008 Red with a pale red head. Sweet cherry aroma plus... hmm.... tomato or carrot juice? The flavours are very sweet too -like carbonated lemonade . It’s cloying and to be honest neither refreshing nor interesting. gilvanblight (341), Windsor, Ontario, Canada Aug 8, 2008 Redish pour with a thick lacey head. Cherry and hops scent. Not that sweet, actually kind of tart. Rather nice for a fruit beer (not usually a fan).
