On draught at the 21st Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation. Pours a ruby colour with no head. Aroma of cherries, lemon, almonds and oak. Similar flavours and fairly tart with a dry finish. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Lovely lingering almonds.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2012 26/V/2012 - on tap @ WoSF 2012 (Opstal) - (2012-538)

Little cloudy red brown to purple beer, no head. Aroma: lots of cherry candy ("poepkes"), some spices, little sourish, but citric sour. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: very spicy, cinnamon, cloves, sourness, soft cherry flavours, nothing too sweet, nice tartness. Aftertaste: more spices, fruity cherry and soft citric sourness. Really good stuff.

(Draught) Pours hazy copper red/orange. Cherry candy aroma. More sweet than sour. Cherry flavour with some cherry stone also present in the blend. Not to sweet our artificial. Lingering cherry candy taste. Light acid. Medium sweet. Ok body. Cherry, cherry, cherry, more lemonade then beer, but still a pretty good one.

draft @ WoSF 2012 // clear wine red with no head // smell is awesome sweet and fruity kriek’s, quite fruity // taste-wise, the kriek’s are more mellowed out, reminds me of canned cherries a bit especially the way they are when the pie has just finished, tart, lemon acid touch in finish, maybe hint of wood, wonderful winter spices in the back, simple, effective yummy, much better than their sweetened crap // completely flat, flat-vile

Draught Deep red, cloudy body. No head off course. Nose of mold and caskwood and cherries, but the sweet-ones. Moderately sweet, lightly acidic initial flavour. Lightly sweet, lightly acidic, dry finish, which lasts long. Lightly bodied, flat carbonation. Not my style of kriekenlambiek.
