Slight haziness to a golden pour. Big, but quick to fall, white head. Little bit of lacing. Funky citrusy nose. Some leathery wood as well. Taste is a semi-tart version of the nose.

37.5cl bottle. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, very huge stable white head. NOSE: sour, little fruity, some hay. TASTE: sour, oak, bitter aftertaste, long lasting grassy note in the aftertaste. All around quite a decent geuze.

Poured from a 375 ml bottle with a 2013 date on the neck. Aroma is somewhat malty with some red apple and stone fruit esters. Some light acidity and a bit of citrus. Not much funky character. Pours a slightly hazy, pale gold with a huge, fairly thick white head that slowly recedes. The head on this is much more like an average beer than a geuze. Fairly high lacing and faint legs. Flavor is moderately tart but also somewhat sweet. Some red apple and stone fruit notes. Light oak notes with some faint barnyard funk. Some light bitterness and a hints of mineral qualities. Light malt notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, this is one of the more disappointing geuzes that I have had. No complexity, too sweet and estery. No real funk to speak of.

Bottle. Dark yellow body with a small white head. Lactic aroma with wood, medicinal barnyard taste with fruit and bread. Decent sour finish. Taste is a little off, other than that a nice beer.

Pours a deep golden color with a fluffy white head. The smell is light fruit, apples, some wood, mild funk. The taste is wood, sour apples. mild funk and vinegar on the aftertaste. Light+ and slick with nice fine carbonation. Pretty decent.
