.75 bottle, bbe 2022. Amber. Interesting nose. There’s a lot more of a young gueuze character, even faro- like cola, candi and molasses, than what I’d expect from an oude. There’s horsery, some hay, malts. Low carbonation, Cola malty fruity flavours. Ok, but clearly not one of the best oudes, they make so many better ones ;)

Bottle, BBE 2023. Pours golden in color with a frothy whitish head, leaving a nice lacing on the glass. Sour notes, some quite funky ones are present here, bit of apples and ripe fruityness from the garden in aroma. Nice aroma indeed. Wow, quite soft mouthfeel, even if there’s some tartness in there. Some lemony notes, bit of old leather and barnyard as well being there in the taste. However, this feels a bit too soft and sweet on the whole. Appart from that it’s quite enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a hazy hay colour with a big white head. Taste is malty and fruity but also very acidic. Not a big geuze-fan, but not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Aroma is sour plus some hints of citrus. The beer is hazy golden with small head. In taste it is very acidic and tart, also acidic in the finish. Very high carbonation, light body, very dry. Very good gueze, so far the best I drunk.

Thanks to foofaa for sharing this one.

Pours darker than I expected, nice foamy white head, decent lacing. Smells and tastes much sweeter than I am used to for the style. Moderate amount of funk and a rather large amount of sourness. It is kinda flat and pretty sour, making it hard to consume more than a little bit at a time. The combo of sweet and sour just didn’t work here for me. I enjoyed it for what it is but I wouldn’t expect anything earth shattering here.

Znakomite cierpkie i wytrawne gueuze. Kwasne niesamowicie, nie kazdemu przypadnie do gustu zwlaszcza tym co zlopia lagery z puszek. Kwasowosc uderza w zasadzie w kazdej czesci podniebienia i w gardle. Metne, bez grama cukru i slodyczy, ladna piana, rdzawy kolor. Polecam wytrawnym koneserom i piwoszom.
