Import på flaska. Gul vätska med två fingrarna hög skumkrona. Luktar sött fruktigt av körsbär. Smakar bubblig körsbärigt. Stor syrlighet. Var är ölen?

It has the name oude gueuze, but it doesn’t taste like it. It has some characteristics of the style, but it seems to be mixed or watered down.

Bottle (375 ml). Clear golden/copper with a medium off-white head and sparse lacing. Aroma is lemony with light barnyard, caramel and mineral notes.Taste is also lemony with light barnyard (no funk though), caramel, wood and lingering mineral finish. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Slightly dry finish. This one clearly lack of funk. Despite being unsweetened, there’s still a little sugary present that hinder drinkability.

Solid, strong puckering. Dry, but robust and well formed. A bit of oak, some lemon and spring fruit with a low spritz body. Seems a few years old.

McWorta (662) - LUXEMBOURG - MAR 19, 2014
Faintly CO2 propelled with a solid dark white head and a deep sunyello clear colour. Lightly apricot/peach, floral, acidic green apple aromas. A bit lively, acidic, fine light body. The finish develops light lemon sourness with notches of sweetness, lasting pleasantly on the palate.

Quite sour medium bodied decent geuze. Not overly sour but enough to be sour. No head, ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
