Bottle. Aroma is sour plus some hints of citrus. The beer is hazy golden with small head. In taste it is very acidic and tart, also acidic in the finish. Very high carbonation, light body, very dry. Very good gueze, so far the best I drunk.

Wygląd: Głęboko złote, klarowne. Biała, średnioobfita piana.
Aromat: Kwaśny, końska derka, cytryna, wanilia jak z beczki dębowej.
Smak: Mocno kwaśne, jak sok z kiszonej kapusty, cytrynowe, trochę końskiej derki. Wytrawne, mocno cierpki finisz.
Odczucie: Nasycenie CO2 wysokie, wytrawne, cierpkie

Clear dark yellow w/ off-white lasting lacing foam head, looks as beer should look. Aroma is light sour, so is taste. Not too outspoken, still. Green apples, always taste green apples. (Antwerpen 201409)

Golden, clear, with white foam. Sour, hint of spices, and wood in the aroma. Sour, raisins hint of wood in the aftertaste.

Traditional geuze since 1972, formerly called Mort Subite Gueuze Fond, tasted under both names. Uses corn, which explains the more yellowish hue than normal in an old geuze, as well as a certain sweetness, softness and breadiness among the typical, but gentle, lambic complexity and funkiness. One of the lesser examples of the style in my taste, but obviously preferable above the ’compromized’ Mort Subite Gueuze and a good introduction to ’real’, traditional geuze.

375 ML in Belgium. Golden pour but very hazy due to it being served at a tasting.Sulphur and wheat heavy lactic acid nose. Taste is dry, full bodied and lots of funky leathery moldy earth taste. Lots of lemon peel and wet cardboard. It’s actually not bad but certainly not my favorite.

(Backlog) Bottle. Golden pour with cloudy white head. Funky and tart fruit aromas. Flavor are full tart and funk, lactic tones, better the the normal gueze offering.

75cl bottle from Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. A decent Gueuze.. quite a mild sour character, subtle barnyard and super dry.
