A great blend of cherry/dark cherry fruit and sour lambic. Stunning really. So drinkable. Best beer of the day? Possibly. Bit of farmyard acidity throughout. BoBoChamp (618), Gent, Belgium Jul 20, 2008 38cl, exclusive brew 2006, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex and refreshing, cloudy, good head, good sour beer, the best of the Mort Subite-range goldtwins (3721), Nesconset, New York, USA Jun 28, 2008 Poured a hazy red color with a pink head. Awesome aroma and flavor. Funky leather and fruity tart cherry with a mild metalic notes. The tartness is very pleasant. CapedBrewsader (181), Brasschaat, Belgium Jun 16, 2008 Draft? at Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 2008: Dark garnet with a thin light pink foam. Nice and earthy aroma with cherry and a light whiff of horse. Simple aroma but still quite pleasing. Flavors of dark deep cherry with a musty forest twist. A light CO2 pusshed acid pops up through the deep cherry. Cherry moves "darker" towards the end. Acid builds up and finishes off the beer with cherry and vinous notes. Simple compared to many of the style, but it still always delivers.
