3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Light red, nice head. Starts sourish from the beginning, also a bit moldy. Fruity-cherry notes, not too intense. Finish not as fruity as the beginning, still well balanced sourish. Nice!

bottle, Dank nach Bochum! Slightly hazy red-brown colour, small head. Sour and dry fruity nose. Dry mouthfeel, astringent, acid with hints of wood. Nice cherry character, but the acidity id too much for my liking. Not my cup of beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
375mL sampled at Shenandoah Throwdown. Whoa- a very nice surprise. Poured a deep red with a light pick, fluffy head. Fizzy bubbles- good sign of acidity. Excellent oak, tannic acid, baked cherries, raspberry yogurt in the nose. Just a superbly executed kriek with beautiful lactic sourness, dry palate, quenching sourness and fresh baked cherry fleshiness. Excellent.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is the real deal compared to the almost awful main stream kriek thay also brew. This beer is exquisit, fresh, dark, and complex. Spontaniously fermented beer change slightly from brew to brew but this one I got in 2010 was splendid.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Small bottle. Medium to deep crimson with a low, lacy head. Looks like there’s a lot of cherries in there! Acetic, lactic aroma with cherry, leather, and almonds. Creamy, with flavors of cherries and nuts followed by a quite intense sourness. Not the most complex lambic, but clean, with a rather dry finish, and great cherry flavor. Slightly heavy body.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A murky dark red color with faint head. Wonderfully tart aroma with plenty of cherry, horse blanket, and funk. A massively funk tart body with a ninous character. A thick bold Cheryl flavor.
