Smaksprøve på bryggeriet i Kobbegem under Tour de Geuze 1 Mai 2011. Gyldenbrun. Lavt skum. Skummet legger seg på glasset. Sterk ferskenaroma & smak. Virker ekte. Kjedelig.

Metalchopz (1173) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 5, 2011
Originally rated March 2006. Sampled at Pub Italia in Ottawa, Ontario. Pours a honey colour, looking like peach juice, slightly hazy. The off-white frothy head is long lasting and lacing is great, with big chunks all over. Light peachy aromas with notes of honey. Medium-bodied with a mild surypy feel. Sweet tasting, but not overly, with beautiful peach flavours. A touch of apples and grapes is found, with a little tiny bitterness in the finish. Good dessert beer, but still prefer their raspberry one.

On tap at the brewery. A clear, golden to amber colored beer with a finger-thick, creamy, off-white head. Loads of peaches and white sugar in the aroma. The flavor is as expected sweet, with peaches and some acidity. Medium body, smooth and sweetish-sticky on the palate. A drinkable beer, but way to one-dimensional and sweet. 110501

OleR (3510) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 25, 2011
Sampled @Mort Subite, Kobbegem. Low blond top leaving spotty laces on the glass. Body is clear yellow golden. Peach aad apricot aroma, smells quite artificial, actually. Taste is sweet without being sticky. A certain acidity is freshening up a not entirely genuine peach flavor. Succulent mouthfeel. Acidic-sweet fruit ending.

Tap @ Mort Subite, Brussels.
Pours clear copper with a medium, creamy, white head. Aroma has lots of fresh peach, mild pepper. High carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is relatively sweet, lots of fruit, peach and apricot. Mild finishing tartness. Good, but a bit sticky in the sweetness.

BMan1113VR (6146) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUN 4, 2011
On tap. Pours with a hazed yellow body with a quick to fade white head. Aromas are strong of artificial white peach, honey, tea, and caramel. No bugs or sourness. No hops. Mild malt character. All sweet, syrupy, artificial peach. Flavors are also very sweet, peach tea (peach sweet tea). Quite artificial tasting. Sweet balance. Minimal malt flavors (or anything besides the fruit). Fizzy and watery.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Light peach beer. Refreshing but very one dimensional. Okay.
