4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jtclockwork (3434) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 5, 2010
UPDATED: MAY 9, 2010 I aged this bottle 12-15 years, so I probably have a different experience with this beer than most. It still tastes fresh and delicious. Dark red amber pour. Nose is strong peach and apricot. Taste is light sour peaches. Fantastic lambic.

A: The pour is a cloudy gold-orange color with a fluffy white head which leaves some spotty lacing.
S: There are certainly some nice peach aromas in this beer. The fruit leans heavily toward the sweet side, but there is a light touch of tartness.
T: The flavor is a bit better off than the nose. The peaches are certainly on the sweet side again, but the tartness is more pronounced. That’s not to say, however, that this is anywhere near as tart as a usual (traditional) lambic.
M: The body is on the lighter side of medium with plentiful carbonation.
D: This is a bit too close to the Lindemans products for my tastes. Still some nice flavors going on, and not quite as artificial as many peach items can be, but overall not something I’d seek out.

On tap at Mort Subite, Brussels in October 2009.
It both smelled and tasted very much peach, almost like lemonade. Easy to drink but one glass was enough. Very sweet, not much acidity. Sweet aftertaste.
