Bottle 25cl (Saveur)
Hazy orange color, small steady white head, some lace. Light wheaty, bubblegum nose. Medium-bodied, soft palate. Wheaty banana, sweetish flavor with light lambic notes. Not really tart at all, but wild yeast gives an interesting vibe. Refreshing.

A faro, but done differently. Pale looks, really nice. Peachy, tangy, bready. Fairly sweet but far from too much and not sugary. Shirt aftertaste. Interesting approach, not bad at all. But also not really a beer for me. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

Iso makeahko hiivaisen samea tuoksu, iso vaahtokin, säilyy kohtalaisen hyvin. Makea, hedelmäinen, samea suutuntuma. Hiilihappoinen samea yleisfiilis.

25cl bottle at home, as "Mort Subite Witte Lambic". Hazy wheat beer looking brew with huge milk white collar. A very appealing dark yellow appearance is accompanied with a pleasant aroma. Think of citrus and grapefruit with lollipop flavours, and with some dusty dryness too. The sugary scents may add some artificial features to the beer, but let’s start with the tasting. A surprisingly mild sweet and yeasty brew, with sublte mango hints. Very refreshing, and a true quencher through its gentle bitterness and medium spiced body. This fruity and sweeted lambic is very dry, and lacks some sourness. The sweetness can be somewhat unnatural, the overall palate is rather watery flat. My general feeling is that this Mort Subite Witte Lambic is not a bad try - it even has some exciting features - yet it is too monotone: This beer’s strengths just are too artificial and that’s a pitty.

Under the name " Witte Lambic" Pale golden with medium white head. Sweet fruity aroma. Taste mixture of sour and sweet with remarkable fruity notes, notes of corander and followed by soft bitterness.

On tap at Mort Subite in Brussels. Pours a hazy pale yellow color, topped with a solid and lasting white head. Flat. Very fruity aroma, some mango notes are present as well as some spices. Starts with a very mild hardly noticeable sweetness, followed by some gentle spiceness and no bitterness. Slight bittery herbal aftertaste.
