Ruikt heerlijk! Ik heb nog een beetje bier in het glas laten zitten om er aan te blijven ruiken. De smaak daarentegen was wat minder, maar nog steeds wel lekker.

Nice colour. Far too sweet to be enjoyable. More like liquid candy than beer.

On tap at the brewery. Red colour with a pink head. Aroma is rasperry, yeast, fruit. Flavour is sweet, raspberry, yeast, almond, sourness. Nice sweet beer.

On tap at the brewery. At least I think it was, but it might have been from a bottle. It was served with a dense, off-white, finger-thick head over a reddish brown body. The aroma has lots of raspberry, both artificial and natural, but with emphasis on the artificial. Some almond hints. The flavor goes in the same direction, some hints of natural raspberry, but mostly artificial, some sourness too. Sticky, medium body fullness. Berries in the finish. I finished my sample, but it’s way, way too sweet for my likings. 110501
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Beersiveknown (1625) - NORTHERN IRELAND - JUL 16, 2011
I assume this is extreme due to 15% raspberries compared to 12% in the regular version. It basically just tastes like raspberry lemonade. Vivid red with lively white head with light carbonation. Very little beer character sweet and full of raspberry flavour with perhaps a hint of horse blanket. Refreshing but not a beer for me.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20 Kestral (505) - Årnes, NORWAY - JUL 14, 2011
Bottle. Pours a clear, light red/pink with a small pink fizzy head that immediately ceases to exist. Aroma is very sweet. I didn’t know anything about this beer, so I was expecting a bone dry framboise. This is raspberry soda. Just a little hint of yeasty funk is all there is to remind you this is a beer. The same in the flavour. A little sourness and bitterness in the finish, otherwise it’s all raspberry soda. Fizzy and light bodied, which I guess is as it should be. As it is, it’s not a bad drink. It’s just not what I am looking for in a framboise at all. I am rating this at least somewhat to style. Too bad you can’t really serve it to kids.

The colour is nice and matches the smell. It smelles like a candyshop. My girlfriend took the glass and kept sniffing it the rest of the night.. Tastes very sweet.. Not bad if you feel like drinking something fruity. Not a fullgrown beer.

Nice deep red color, nice bright color. Almost purple. Very very sweet smell like candy. Kind of a terrace when it’s a really hot summer day-beer.
