Bottle shared with McTapps. Nice one for sure. But after having a few other in my life so far this Kriek was just average. Maybe just too sweet for me and artificial in a way. Definitely a classy one but in no way outstanding.

Had an evening loaded with boring Bavarian beers and had this one for the last one and was really looking forward to a beer way away of the yeasty and dull Bavarian ones. It came with a dark ruby colour, creamy steady head and smooth body. Nose of ripe cherries. Taste of ripe soursweet cherries, cherry stones and grass. Hints of wood and mild hops. Easy and nice to drink, enjoyed it although it had a very sweet finish.

Small bottle. Copper body with a medium head. Aroma has ripe cherries and some almonds. Taste is extremely sweet (I think that’s what they meant with the name) with sugar and other sweeteners. Tastes like strawberry lemonade. Microscopic tartness in the finish. But it’s a bit better than many other kind of alcopops listed here.

Quite a pleasant aroma of cherry jam and frangipan. Flavour is of sweetened cherry. Moderate carbonation. Not offensive.

250ml bottle. Bright red color, tiny head. Jam, punch of cherry, sweet notes in aroma. Sweet, but not sticky. Full of cherries. Mellow sourness. Quite pleasant to drink.

Bottle in Belgium. Super strong cherry nose. Lots of cherry in the flavor, too. Overwhelmingly sweet with a cherry syrup quality that’s hard to shake. Big almond notes. Lesser hints of vanilla. Definitely a dessert beer. Too sweet for my liking.

So juicy... But for me tastes great - if you forgot if it is beer. Just imagine drinking some juices with alcohol. But as for beer is too much...

Sweet synthetic cherries. Dark red, clear w white laces. Sugar, sweet cherries. Not my type. Miss the bitterness and complexity of so many other krieks.

2/III/13 - 25cl bottle from random supermarket @ home - BB: 14/VIII/14 (2013-212)

Clear pink red beer, big irregular off-white head, unstable, bit adhesive, nice lacing. Aroma: very sugary, sweet, candy (poepkes), syrupy, more candy. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: sugary, more sugar, cherry candy, little lemony, very sweet. Aftertaste: cherry candy, sugary and sweet, more sugar. Diabetes in a bottle!
