Snow white top on a clear pissy bottom. The ususal grain aroma with a sweet edge. Thin pilsner flavor again with some sweetness and a herbal touch. Lack of bitterness. Not the worst intl. lager, but would probably taste a lot better if drunk in Zambia!

So far the best beer in zambia. Had this in ndola july 2015. What means fresh from the brewery as it gets produced here. Aroma: bit malty bit hops, some sweetness. Light in colour and Foam was good. Taste: maize and sugar is used for brewing it which explains the bit watery/empty taste. with slight malt and caramel flavours. Bitterness not strong. Overall: high drinkability as it has only 4% and goes down like water. Especially on hot day in zambia

Butelka 0,5l wypite w Zambii w 2013r. Kolor jasnozłoty, piana biała, szybko zanika. Aromat lekko słodowy, cytrusy. Smak owocowy, lekko wytrawne. Nagazowanie dobre. Typowe z Afryki.

Twelve ounce bottle from co-worker (thanks, Craig!), tasted on February 12, 2015. Clear light yellow color, assertive adjunct nose, initial watery mouthfeel gives way to tartness, slight astringency. Quite a lot of adjuncts evident. Drinkable and certainly better than the crap this megabrewery puts out with the Miller name on it but not worth going out of your way for unless you want the tick for the country.

6/X/14 - 33cl can @ home - BB or canned: 22/VI/14, I think canned, since I only just got it from a guy who just came back from Africa (2014-1181) Thanks to Annemie for the can!

Clear pale blond beer, big aery white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, malty, grains, hay, bit off. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: watery, slightly bitter, bit of citrus, grassy. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, bit metallic, watery, sweet, sugary touch.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Clear pale yellow with white head. Grainy corn aroma and taste. Quite bland, a little watery, but mostly just flavourless.

courtesy of Philipp and Thomas - pale golden beer with a modest foam left; aroma of paperboard with hints of grass; quite thin-bodied, some raw bitterness; papery and dusty finish with mild buttery notes - never criticise a tick from a new country !

0.5L bottle. Pours clear pale with a minimal white head. Not much aroma, some cereal grain and dusty hops. Flavor is also not much to write home about. Sweeter malt character followed by some herby hops. Light-medium body with a thin mouthfeel and active carbonation. Overall, more African schwill. Hits the spot at the end of the day, but nothing noteworthy. Better than Castle, though...

triplehopped (53) - - MAY 28, 2014
Poured pale gold with a small white head that quickly dissipated and left very little lacing. The aroma was weak but of sweet malt. The little taste detectable was mildly sweet and perhaps a hint of bitterness. There was little to note on the palate other than it compared well to water and the instantaneous finish affirmed such. Overall, not satisfied. There are enough domestics that are this disappointing, no need to go through the hassle of getting beer from Zambia for the same outcome.
