Sinceramente, non mi convince del tutto, al naso mi sembra di sentire qualche difettuccio, ma soprattutto manca nella componente amara nel finale. Da migliorare.

Pours slightly hazy pale golden yellow with a big fluffy white head. A simple nose of light sweet malt, yeast and hops. Taste starts sweet, honey, followed by citrus hops and light bitterness. Light body and light carb. A tasty beer on this 94 degree day in Florence.

Draft at Mostodolce, Florence. Hazed yellow, bright foamy white head. Very fresh hoppy head, bright pils. Body is sweet but crisp. Lemon, dry bittering sharp hop finish. Really tasty and hop forward, probably the best they had on tap the day I was at the brewpub.

Bellissima pils, da bere a grandi sorsate, beverina e con generoso luppolo; non sapevo questa cosa dell’assenzio ma non ci ho mica pescato niente, siam sicuri?

UPDATED: AUG 10, 2009 Draught at the tap in Firenze. Greenish and full with a lemony haze, glowy edges and a pure thinning collar. Fresh citrussy aroma with farmyard dabs, pollen, pineapple jelly, lemon zest, gummy bears. Christ this has got a dollop of the Green Fairy in it and I didn’t even realise. Fresh and dry unfiltered hop and yeasty bite, wine gums, jellied lemon, lime and pineapple, dryness softening into lingering sweet vanilla, wafery malt, maize maybe. Punchy unfiltered helles/pils type effort, without obvious..hallucinatory adornments. Had a couple of these. Fresh and impressive.

Draught Good just off-white head, fully hazy yellow-orange beer. Grainy nose and serious whiff of hops - including some oiliness. Bitterish flavour with more hops, then the absint or whatever comes in. Point of diacetyl, (but I fear this were the lines, rather than the beer itself, as most beers on draught had it at Bi-Du ). Very slick, grain-filled texture; end bitterness is crude. Pleasing beer, I had it on bottle too, where it was fully phenolic, and possibly infected.
