Flaska via SB.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, fruits, and straw. The flavor is acidic with notes of lemons and straw, leading to a dry lemony finish. Seems off.

Bottle. Clear golden liquid with medium white head. Aroma of grain, vegetables, bread, metal, lemon peel and clove/banana. Taste is dry and light bitter with notes of vegetables, bread and light citrus. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Not entirely awful but not great.

Strange smell and taste of this beer. Does not feel like an American Pale Ale. More like a Saison. The aftertaste does not last as long. But I do not like this beer. Boring and sour of saithe.

Aroma: Smelling of molasses, allspice, clove and yeast.
Appearance: A clear straw colored beer. A high white head with some lacing and small curtains.
Taste: Tasting white bread, peppar, clove and hay.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft texture. A small body with a slightly dry finish.
Overall: No I don’t care for the clove dominance, not infected this one though.
Note: Bottle 330 ml. Reviewed 2013-02-17.

gyllenbock (4634) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 17, 2013
Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in January 2013. Hazy light amber with an enormous white head. The aroma was nothing that one would expect in an American Pale Ale. Yeast, some earth, citrus and notes of boiled vegetables. The same in the taste. Strange and boring.

Orange body. Aroma is little yeasty and same goes with the flavor. Little hopy tone on the flavor as well. Dry finish and.
