In medieval times, the Knucker was the infamous water dragon that wreaked havoc on local farming communities by consuming local livestock and even villagers! This soothing serum was was concocted to tame the savage beast!
A great session IPA. This beer has a balanced mix of 3 varieties of hops, and is dry hopped for a week with Simcoe and Amarillo. Can you say Grapefruit? If you enjoy the hop characteristics of our DIPA but without that punch-in-the-mouth experience, look no further than Auld Knucker. 6% ABV, 92 IBUs.

Draft. Amber pour, sticky white head. Lots of grapefruit, citrus, and tropical fruit in the aroma. Flavor is similar, with caramel malt, and some grain. Hoppy and fresh.

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2013 For some reason the aroma and taste of the Knucker reminded me of Orange Pekoe tea. I also get some grapefruit notes in here amidst a healthy bitter punch that really lingers. I really enjoyed this one and will pick it up again.
