COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A clear, crisp beer, Kölsch offers a very slight fruity flavor and aroma. It is light gold in color, with a delicate head. This light-bodied beer appeals to nearly everyone who samples it. Expect to enjoy a slight tang in the finish.

Pours from the bottle a pale yellow with a tint of orange. The nose is sweet orange citrus, mouthfeel creamy, and the finish is clean and smooth, with a blend of floral hops and orange crush. I could drink a million of these. Wow, what a Kolsch.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2011 Bottle. I’m not a Kolsch fan, but this is a nice example of the style. It’s refreshing, grainy, and would work well as a mid-session palate-cleanser or yard brew. Well made even if not my thing. Rerate: this beer is making me a kolsch fan. Crisp, clean, excellent finish. The perfect "light" craft beer.

UPDATED: JUN 24, 2012 Float on the grainy tide of Endless River through a slightly hazy golden current whilst the frothy head forms ample eddies of thick white lace on the glassy shoreline. Aroma shows grassiness, cereal and a little cattiness. Slightly thin bodied with a lightly tart lemony finish. A good lawnmower beer and easy session brew. A little more hop character then others of its ilk.

Pours a soft straw yellow with a one finger of frothy white head. Nose is mildly sweet, some grassy hay character, bready malt, not much character. Flavor is crisp, bready sweetness, corn, mild grassy hop bitterness. Palate is soft with a mild carbonation, a bit grassy.

Kolsches are kind of difficult to rate for me - Mainly because their charms are hidden and require concentration to really appreciate. I liked this one, though - nice mix of subtle grainy notes and a touch of light fruity notes. I could probably drink a lot of this.

Bottle courtesy of durhambeer. Pours gold with a generous white head. Smells of pilsner malt with a touch of perfume. Tastes of dry malt, some perfume, touches of floral hints. Decent.

aroma is sweet and grassy, a crystal clear yellow color with white frothy head that reduces quick but good lacing, a light touch of fruity sourness, a medium body, creamy texture and good carbonation, very long, soft and pleasing finish. I really like this beer and could drink these several of these at a sitting! This is my new summer beer. Thanks Mother Earth

12 oz bottle- Pours a moslty clear golden with a nice big white head. Aroma is on the hoppy side for a kolsch - fresh grassy hops, light crackery pils malt- not as doughy or bready. Flavor is light clean crackery malts, some mineral, lemon hints, grassy hops and a clean crisp finish.
