A clear, crisp beer, Kölsch offers a very slight fruity flavor and aroma. It is light gold in color, with a delicate head. This light-bodied beer appeals to nearly everyone who samples it. Expect to enjoy a slight tang in the finish.

aroma is sweet and grassy, a crystal clear yellow color with white frothy head that reduces quick but good lacing, a light touch of fruity sourness, a medium body, creamy texture and good carbonation, very long, soft and pleasing finish. I really like this beer and could drink these several of these at a sitting! This is my new summer beer. Thanks Mother Earth

12 oz bottle- Pours a moslty clear golden with a nice big white head. Aroma is on the hoppy side for a kolsch - fresh grassy hops, light crackery pils malt- not as doughy or bready. Flavor is light clean crackery malts, some mineral, lemon hints, grassy hops and a clean crisp finish.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2011 pint at Village draft house. Ok aroma, sweet, fruity, cereal. Clean orangy gold color, small head with minor lace. light sweetness, lightly bitter. light body, thin feel, average carbonation, crisp bitter finish. Maybe a little fruity for what I remember a kolsch being, definite lawn mower. hit all the proper points though

Bottle from the Fresh Market in Greenville. Who knew? Pours bright attractive gold with a bubbly white head. Crisp, slightly grassy hops, cereal grains, a nice bite to it. Fuller palate than expected. Quite refreshing. Proof that a clear yellow beer can be delicious. Hoping this will be available closer to my area for the summer.

On tap at the Flying Saucer, Raleigh. Clear and clean golden pour with a bright carbonation and a zesty aroma of hops, pepper, and a hint of lemon. Nice smooth mouthfeel, just full enough. Clean-drinking, solid kolsch all the way around. Look forward to having this local sleeper again.

On tap at the brewery for the grand opening - poured a golden yellow with a foamy white head and plenty of carbonation. Aroma of fruit, yeast and grasses. Nice sweet, fruity taste. This was a very nice Kolsch that I would love to try more of.
