Not a bad beer. Not too much going on for this beer. Needs something else to make it work.

6/10/11. 12oz bottle courtesy Tim and Rachel. Very light clear yellow pour with a small white head that fades to a ring. Plain grainy aroma with a touch of green apple. Grainy, pale grain flavor with green apple and a touch of tart again. Meh.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Found this one bottled at Food Lion in Nags Head, North Carolina. I’m not a big fan of this style overall, so I think I rated this one a little low, but ultimately it’s a crisp, slightly fruity and mild sessionable beer, especially refreshing on a warm day.

12 oz. bottle from Quik Stop
Damn you internet for eating my first review!
Ar: Clean, honey-malt aroma with a bit of honey.
Ap: Nice clear gold with a 3/4" fluffy white head.
T: Very nice, slightly sweet honey maltiness up front. The finish is mildly hopped and clean, with a nice lemony note.
P: Relatively thin with assertive carbonation.
O: My first Kolsch, this was very enjoyable. I can’t wait to knock a few of these back in the heat of the summer!

Tap at Blind Tiger Local Food Bash. Very pale golden pour with a tight white head. The aroma is quite fresh and grassy with a bit of light pils malt crackery flavour. Fresh, balanced and quite tasty. The faintest kiss of estery character. Excellent balance.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Straw colored with minimum head and light lacing. Taste is typical grassy malt with a fair amount of bittering. Drinkable, but not memorable.
