This DIPA is a bad ass. Straight up. It’s hopiness isn’t just limited to the floral nose or lingering bitterness but a full hop flavor all the way through your palate. We bitter with a Super Alpha, and follow it up with a few flavoring additions throughout the boil. A massive dry hop of Simcoe and Amarillo create a huge aroma profile that really comes through in a big way.

Can from The Needle & Pin, Loughborough. Cloudy orange with nice white head. The Simcoe and Amarillo are evident in the big citrus fruity aroma. Hoppy, bitter, dry and spicy in the taste. Full bodied, quite highly carbonated, some late warmth in the hoppy bitter finish. Most enjoyable.

Can, The Offie, Leicester. Golden brown with an off white foam. Resinous pine with woody and grassy notes. Toffee with a peppery and boozy finish. Good but lacks the tropical fruit I liked in boo koo.

A nice aggressive IPA, you can taste the extra alcohol in this one compared to the bookoo . Good but I’d probably drink the bookoo almost every time

22 oz bottle obtained through Tavour. Mother Earth Hop Diggity is a Dark copper, slightly hazy beer featuring a good head of white medium sized bubbles. Nose is a bit of a mixed palate of hop aromas including grassy, evergreen and a bit of melon. Taste is bright, hoppy, bitter and dry all at once. The body is lively from the first sip. My first though was wow, and I was more impressed as the taste evolved across my palate. this is a really well done DIPA. I wish I had more.

Hazy copper color with orange-tinged head. Aroma huge and flowery, grassy, and with some sweet caramel/toffee notes. Taste is big, bold, and bitter. The bitterness kinda hids more delicate flavors, which makes it hard to make them out, but I suppose this is part of the style. If you like DIPAs, you’d like this one.

Can - strong wet grass aroma that promises a heavy hop hit; delivered in buckets once you taste it. Lively and tingly mouthfeel and the hop punch has your tongue retreating into itself! Good example of the DIPA style, but the lack of malty balance means after a 330ml can, your cravings for hops will most likely be sated and your mouth may need a rest to recover.

Can sample at a tasting at Max’ place. Thanks DSG. Cloudy light amber. Onion peel and garlic hoppiness. Onion, dry bitterness, some juiciness in the mouth. Medium body, bitter and fruity hoppy finish and fairly carbonated.

Can shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Cloudy golden with an off-white head. Nice fruity and piney hops aroma, a bit oniony. Flavor has some sweetish malt, oniony and fruity hops, and a very bitter finish. Medium-bodied. A bit too sweet and heavy, but nice.

Hazy orange amber iwth a one-finger bright white head and drops of lace. Tropical citrus aromas - mostly mango and pineapple. Similar taste, with a touch of bready malt. Medium body, lively carbonation, creamy mouthfeel and a pleasantly bitter finish.
