This DIPA is a bad ass. Straight up. It’s hopiness isn’t just limited to the floral nose or lingering bitterness but a full hop flavor all the way through your palate. We bitter with a Super Alpha, and follow it up with a few flavoring additions throughout the boil. A massive dry hop of Simcoe and Amarillo create a huge aroma profile that really comes through in a big way.

Can from Beer Gonzo webshop, Coventry, consumed at home Friday 18th December 2015 Pours warm gold with a white head. Thick in the mouth, but too malty and cloying for my liking, at first I thought that I liked it but after a while I got a little tired of it. Hops are drowned out by a plodding syrupy maltiness. Ok but gutted I picked up two of these. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Holy shit... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Albertsons. Normal appearance, nothing special here. Aroma is sour citrus, with a touch of funk. Pineapples are closest. Taste brings more of the citrus, along with the drying hops. Some sour, some funk, some sweet. Complex with a long lingering finish.

Type: 22-oz. bottle Glass: Lagunitas mason jar From: Costco in La Mesa (San Diego), Calif. Price: $18.99 for a variety 4-pack of bombers Purchased: Nov. 6, 2015 Consumed: Nov. 10, 2015 Misc.: N/A Poured an orangeish, caramel, semi-clear color with three fingers of khaki-white, frothy head. Some light bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Excellent spiderweb, foamy lacing on the sides of the glass. Very good-to-great retention on the top all the way down. (Sight - 4.50) Smelled sharp grapefruit zest, lemon, dank pine, lime grass, Simcoe, Citra, sweet tangerine, some herbal, faint Cascade and caramel. (Smell - 4.00) First taste reminded of a better version of New Belgium Ranger IPA. Got boozy Citra, dank pine, veggies, herbal, grassy, lime, lemon zest, Cascade, tropical, earthy mango rind, tangerine, resin, Nugget and caramel. (Taste - 3.75) Medium body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Astringent, bitter finish. (Feel - 3.75) This was actually better than I thought it would be for some reason. Nice IIPA, especially for the price. I’d have it again. I feel like I may have underrated it a tad. (Overall - 3.75) 3.86 87 B+

Genesis 10.16.15. Yep, they’re coming to my state. Exciting. Not even kidding a little bit. Pouring from a can, the liquid is a burnished copper covered in suds the color of lightly toasted marshmallows. In the light, in the shadows; always the same gleaming red-gold. Pretty. The head is fading fast. A lighter aroma than I was expecting, but still quite penetrating, the flavor a clone of the scent with an added bonus of clover honey. Bitter, but not flat and quite flavorful from first drop to last, I’m only slightly surprised at my enjoyment of it. The bitterness is accentuated by the thick, heady, floral aroma and the two move in tandem over my senses, the swallow quite severe, but not abusive. Enjoying Hop Diggity, and wish I’d bought another can. I’d like to make it last a bit longer? For reviewing purposes...of course.

Poured from a can. Burnt orange color. Big white head. Lots of lacing. Citrus and floral aroma. Lot a bitterness but not in a good way. Not good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Total Wine, North Miami, Florida, USA. A golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty, grapefruit aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, malty, grapefruit, with a slight sweetness. Very nice DIPA.

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2015 Can poured into pint glass. Appearance: cloudy burnt orange, thin off-white head. Leaves minimal lacing. Aroma: big sweet citrus(tangerine?) and floral/earthy hop nose. Prominent malt backbone. Taste: tangerine, grapefruit, honey, sweet bread, a little raisin(?) Palate: medium carbonation, a bit oily. Overall: wonderful overall. Really well done IPA.

Pour is a reddish with a average white head. Aroma is a nice blast of hops with some onion and green apple. Flavor is again a nice hop but then comes a heavy sweet caramel malt. Another IPA where the malt bill is just a bit to heavy and sweet. In the world of Impy IPA’s this is just average. The aroma was better then the flavor. The malt’s just took everything away from the hops.
