3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. Pours slightly hazy light gold color with a thick sticky head. Nice grassy aroma with notes of fresh cut grass and orange citrus. Straightforward DIPA flavor of lemon, orange and grapefruit citrus with the malt base subdued so as to keep the profile light and crisp. I prefer this approach to a good DIPA. bitterness is medium strength and fairly well balanced. Good carbonation with a refreshing palate. Very tasty. I look forward to trying more of M.E.’s brews

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
65 cl bottle.
Pours amber color with a large, lasting head. Quite malty aroma, not as hoppy as I expected, mild rye notes, some resin and caramel. Sweet caramel malts and orange on the flavor, resinous hops, piney. Moderately bitter, sweet malty palate, lingering caramel finish. Probably not the freshest of bottles, a bit of a disappointment.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
A double IPA for a fortnight and a day. #1
Dark orange with an overly ample plumage. A bit troublesome with the consistency of the pour.
Off metal and cardboard flavors emanating from the depths of the glass. A little bit of vague hop flavor. Kind’ve awful to put to my mouth. The oxidation of what may be a perfectly fine beverage. If that’s what they were going for, they did it well. I assume not, and I was unable to have more than one.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. No date. Must be fresh or they would bottle date it! Pours a deep golden to red with tan head. Aroma is of stale hops, honey comb and cereal. Taste is faded hops, muted citrus, honey malt and some cherry. I will never buy a bottle of this again. Might try it on draft to see if it is this bad fresh but probably not.
