3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
25th June 2015
Light haze on this amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and soft, mild fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, light cream. Big skunky hops. Mild hop spice and marmalade but this is mostly about the skunk character of hops. Smooth finish. Skunk bomb but pretty drinkable.

650ml bottle. Clear, copper-ish amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Piney hoppy aroma, fruity hints of mango, caramel malty background. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, piney, some slightly disguised tropical fruit, mango. Decent.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Good basic IPA. A bit more caramel malt than I am used to to but it works well when balanced by tropical fruits. I’d drink this every day.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Ales By Mail; clear copper pour with a frothy beige head, aroma has freshly mown grass and assertive pine, taste is like a pine cone party, very pine forward with a backbone action consisting mostly of pine, imagine being hit with a Christmas tree and the baubles are mangos, the IUB’s are coming in strong, a pheasant experience.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma and flavor is like when you cut wet two by fours. The wood is ok but that green acidic nature is not good. Killed the beer.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 bomber to cervoise. Pours cloudy deep orange gold. Head is foamy, dissipates to ring. Aroma of fresh hops, resin, pine, dank, biscuit and citrus peel. Taste has malty caramel and biscuit backbone. Finish is bitter and sour. Lots of sativa and resin. Mother Earth never fails to deliver the MF?ing hops!

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Clear amber liquid with medium white head. Aroma of plastic, rubber, hard bread, light citrus, earth and burnt electronics. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of light citrus, plastic and husky grain. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Either really tired or extremely phenolic. Meh.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Average SD IPA 6.99 bottle 22oz. Typical average use of high bittering hops with no real malt thing. But ok on the not real big malt things cuz hops are supposed to be predominate. They are but nothing overly special.
