This IPA will “wow” those tastebuds and wake up your nose! Fruitiness in the aroma and a mango-like finish from the NZ Nelson hops used are sure to get you to believe in fate!

650ml bottle. Clear, copper-ish amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Piney hoppy aroma, fruity hints of mango, caramel malty background. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, piney, some slightly disguised tropical fruit, mango. Decent.

Good basic IPA. A bit more caramel malt than I am used to to but it works well when balanced by tropical fruits. I’d drink this every day.

RichTheVillan (4702) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2015
Bottle from Ales By Mail; clear copper pour with a frothy beige head, aroma has freshly mown grass and assertive pine, taste is like a pine cone party, very pine forward with a backbone action consisting mostly of pine, imagine being hit with a Christmas tree and the baubles are mangos, the IUB’s are coming in strong, a pheasant experience.

Aroma and flavor is like when you cut wet two by fours. The wood is ok but that green acidic nature is not good. Killed the beer.

22 bomber to cervoise. Pours cloudy deep orange gold. Head is foamy, dissipates to ring. Aroma of fresh hops, resin, pine, dank, biscuit and citrus peel. Taste has malty caramel and biscuit backbone. Finish is bitter and sour. Lots of sativa and resin. Mother Earth never fails to deliver the MF?ing hops!

Bottle. Clear amber liquid with medium white head. Aroma of plastic, rubber, hard bread, light citrus, earth and burnt electronics. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of light citrus, plastic and husky grain. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Either really tired or extremely phenolic. Meh.

Draft at the brewery. Pours clear amber with a fizzy white head. Tastes like musky orange, hop resin, caramel, grapefruit, and cereal malt. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like hop resin, grapefruit, caramel, and cereal malt.

[2/20/15] Draught at Stone Brewing World in Escondido. Clear amber. Aroma of “green” oniony hops and some malt. Sweetish malty flavor with a bit of caramel, “green” hops and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Average SD IPA 6.99 bottle 22oz. Typical average use of high bittering hops with no real malt thing. But ok on the not real big malt things cuz hops are supposed to be predominate. They are but nothing overly special.

Got at Costco or big warehouse store...not a fan at all. Super rubber nose, flavor of harshe astringent bitterness. Seem like there was no thought into brew,,,just add tns of nelson cuz that’s the big name. Needs balance.
