650 ml bottle. Pours a dark copper colour with a chunky lacy head. Aroma of bready malts, mango, lemon and floral notes. Flavour of caramel malts, floral notes, kiwi, rich herbal notes, bread and citrus. Medium bodied and a nicely bitter, bready and citrusy finish. Refreshing. I’m really into this type of herbal hoppiness right now.

Bottle shared in NYC - thanks to Will and Sander. Pours clear, rich god with a creamy top. Meh, it’s ok. Kind of a leafy affair, with some rindy bitterness, jammy citrus, berries. Medium sweet, a little bready, with toasted grass, orange, papaya. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly resinous, with toasty bread sweetness, some pine, grass and earth. Fine.

Bottle. Had a nice citrus, maybe grapefruit, and pine aroma, with a long bitter finish that I didn’t really like very much. I think overall there was a lack in flavor that made it feel unbalanced between the aromas and mount feel. That said I drank my 11 oz in like 2 minutes cause i couldn’t put it down.

Tap at South Beach Bar & Grille, Ocean Beach SD, 19/04/14. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white swirl and edgework. Nose is bitter hops, pine, grapefruit, straw, orange pith, spruce, a real bitter bastard! Taste comprises dank hops, light skunkdom, pine, bitter grapefruit, orange pith, grassy tinge. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi to aggressive hop bitterness in the close/ Solid bitter bastard of an IPA!

Bottle. Pours a clear dark amber with a huge bubbly white head that lingers. Aroma of citrus hops, grass, malt, sweet candied orange peel, and a hint of pine. Taste gains a lot of sharp bitterness as it goes, with pine hope, tart preserved citrus, and sweet malt undertones. Lingering bitterness that ends a little weak. Nice IPA.

A nice IPA. Fresh and hoppy, fruity and balanced. Really enjoyed it. Finish wasn’t as big or long as is advertised, actually quite subtle, but still a nice brew.
